Drawn over 19 hours, this leaf slowly changed as I worked.
In the earlier stages, the veins appeared fuller and more defined. As the days passed and the leaf began to decay, they softened and shrank.
Rather than correcting those changes, I chose to follow them.
What remains is not only a study of a leaf, but a quiet record of time, observation, and impermanence.
