Inspired by coastal plants growing near Australian shorelines, this artwork explores the intricate network of veins that give leaves their structure and character. Viewed from above, the leaves reveal a pattern of interconnected shapes that reminded me of stained glass.
Created in ink and watercolour, the piece celebrates the remarkable designs found in nature and the beauty that emerges when we take a closer look.
